Ok, here's the deal. My 1991 Eclipse n/t timming belt took a crap, and when that happend it didn't dawn on me that it caused some internel damage. Well I went and got another timming belt and put it on, and got everything good and timmed, but there was some lag even when we got the timming dead on. Well soon after one of my vavles got stuck (that valve must have been the one thing that got damaged when the belt broke). So now I have to totaly tear down and rebuild the engine. Here is my question. Can I put this rebuilt engine into a 2g eclipse turbo?(this 2g's engine is seized) I don't think this is going to be easy, but I am up for a chalenge. If this has already been solved forgive me for asking, just send me to the right post.

Thanks,

As long as it is the 2.0L non turbo engine then it will be exactly the same as a turbo 4G63, minus some oil squirters that aren't neccesary. What you are doing is building up a 6 bolt to put in your 2G and plenty of people have done that.

Good...thats great. I wasn't sure if it had been done or not. Could you by any chance show me a forum that has what to do?

Well, now I have an interesting update. The 2g body is going to need alot of work. :thumbdown But all the parts are out of the 2g. So, here is my next question. Can I stick the turbo and all the other components from the 2g into my 1g n/t? If I could that would be awsome. Any input would be greatly appresiated. :thumb:
