I've been trying to figure out why my fuel trims are pegged lean for a while now. Today I was cleaning my filter and I noticed my lower honeycomb in the maf was removed. Could this be causing my lean fuel trims? Anything else this could be affecting?
Thanks

Yes it Could... but I see You have a AFPR what is your Fuel Presure set at with the vacum line off? also you are runing 450's instead of 390's? it's an Auto right?

Well a hacked maf might cause that, but a little unlikely. It may be the tuning. Was it always like that, or did it just start doing it randomly one day?

Stock FP is 36.3 for 5spd but I beleave its 43 for a auto and you have 450's in a ecu for 390 right? Try to slowly lower your fp till your High Ft starts to come back up or reset your ecu and watch what your trims do
But 450s in car with an ecu for a auto you will need about 13% less airlow about 8% with a hacked mas IE.... Low trims

450's only flow 415cc in a 5spd @ 37psi but are 450cc @ 43.5

Sorry about that WTF Thought you said they where maxed out rich 81.2

You said your FP was at 43 psi what kind of Gauge do you have I was just Talking to Jeff @ KEYDIVER Chips - DSM ECU Tuning About how most FP gauges are not accurate

But still Reset you Ecu and Watch what your trims are doing It maybe your Fuel pump is going out or can't keep up, what boost are you running?

It's a marshall liquid filled. I know the liquid filled gauges can change as the liquid heats up with the engine, but I've heard just to set it and adjust it when its cold.

14 psi. I reset my ECU not long ago and they just climbed back up. The fuel pump is a brand new less than a hundred miles walbro 255. my trims were lean with the stack pump and regulator also. One more thing is I have the original O2 sensor still. It acts normal, cycles, etc. but could it still be bad even though it acts normal?

Ya could be not helping I know that as O2's get older they read richer and richer

But more likely you need to do a boost leak test ....
If you already have 13% more fuel thats not acounted for and your trims are all peged out adding as much fuel as posiable then your maf is seeing alot more air then your motor is accualy getting
