1g headlight conversion

So I just bought some of the ebay conversion housings with a projector lens in them.

I bought two, a set for me and a set for the wife. I'll put up some pics when they get here. I will also try hooking up an HID setup in them to see how they look, if there is any cut off with the lens that's in these ones. I have a friend with an HID setup for 9006 bulbs that isn't in any vehicle right now. I'll have to get HID H4 bulbs first and then borrow his ballast's and igniters. I'll take some pictures of the light shining up against a wall with and without the HID's. I'm curious as to whether or not the lens in these housings in the link will make it possible to have HID's without glare.

Those really dont have a projector. You should have boughten the ecode housings instead.

After reading through all this i am interested in seeing some results and am now considering doing something with my lights. I never really cared before now!

I want to get rid of the pop ups but not go to the cheap front end of a 1gb. something like how the corvette style..

^ yeah as stated before those are not real projectors. just a piece of glass like the top of a light bulb. if you want real projectors you got to fab them with a retrofit. i have lexus sc400 projectors mounted in my awd with white halos, i have the front lens finished along with the back housings they just are not installed yet. i made mounts to work off the stock 4x6 mount out of 1/8in sheet steel

You really should have done a write up. Lack of 1g aftermarket/cosmetic enhancements sucks.
