1g head swap

What exactly needs to be done to a 1g head in order to swap it along with the 1g intake manifold onto a 2g bottom end? I had a guy in a local shop give me some horrendous horror story about the head modification and was just curious before i went out and purchased one what i would have to do? I have a 95 tsi 4wd and the head i can get is off of a 90 or 91 tsi, if this helps.

u would have to modify your CAS for a 1g cas. Get vacme from somwere for the MDP
and thats about it.
