Well currently in the process of putting my car finally back together from 6 months of waiting. I'm swapping a 1g head, jmf smim and a sbr exhaust mani. All that good stuff is on. But I am having problems with the coolant lines. First off which of these pipes should I use

Also I've heard that this plug on the block needs to be blocked off but I'm still running the same turbo (s16 rest of mods in profile).

I've read the RRE post on the subject but all their pics are gone and they only deal with getting the head on and I'm past that stage. If anyone has any insight on the subject it would be most appreciated

Well I've been looking around (haynes, chilton, search button) trying to find answers to this question and the way it stands now I will be going w/ picture B water pipe. Also I have no plans on blocking that little plug in the block. This pretty much goes against the RRE write up but I don't have much choice here. I can not see how water pipe A needs to be used. I've been running in my head a rough idea on how the hoses are going to go and everything seems to be good so far. If it runs I'll post up and if it goes boom I'll post up. If there's anyone out there that knows this is wrong please tell me now.

When i swapped to a 1g head i needed to use a 1g thermostat housing and that required me to use the 1g turbo water pipe. As for the banjo bolt on the head either get that blocked off or get it welded shut which was what i did since you don't need it. As for supplying the turbo with coolant get one port from the 1g thermostat housing and the other one goes to the turbo water pipe. The other port on the water pipe goes to your oil filter housing.
