1g FWD Exhaust route options?

I have a 1gA FWD turbo Laser, and i would like to have an angled exhaust but since it has to go over the solid rear axel( i guess you could call it). Has anyone went under the axel with their exhaust? I would like the nice upswept and angled look like all the AWD's. I am tired of the straight tip. maybe post some of your FWD's Exhaust here? Thanks guys!

My buddy has a fwd and his goes under the rear. It works fine. I have an awd with 3" and its cool but it bottoms out easy if its not tucked tight. His car does the same thing also so if you decide to go this route make sure its tight under the car or you'll end up with a flat bottomed pipe at the drop going under the rear.

On my car after 2 years I finally found all of the pieces to make a 3inch turbo back exhaust and it goes up over the rear and fits perfectly. I would look for mandrel bent megan exhaust parts, if you look hard enough and long enough you will eventually find something. I think going under the rear like a GSX 1g would cause your exhaust to catch all the time and throw sparks, there is a reason the stock exhaust goes up and over vs under. I can post up a pic in a little bit.

Why don't you just cut and reweld your muffler and angle it, I have a 3" Thermal R&D on my fwd laser and it looks great

i just may. off track but do you ever go to escondido? i swear i just saw your car there like a month ago... i was driving by and saw it and yelled DSM!!! haha!
