1g Factory Premium 6 spkr Sizes.

I have searched the forums and many speaker company sites and I get mixed answers. some say 6.5s and others 6x9s. some sware they have factory 6x9s while others say they wouldnt fit.

I have a 91 TSI with premium 6 speaker.

DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY 100% CONCLUSIVE ANSWERS??!!!

There is no conclusive answer that I know of. It was a matter of what they had laying around in the parts bin the day your car was put together. I've seen 91s with both setups, I've even seen two cars that were manufactured in the same week have different speakers even though they both had the 6-speaker setup.

There are mounts for both the 6.5" and the 6X9 out there, it's just three bolts I think and you can swap for what you want. I had the 6X9s in my old DL and I have the 6.5" in my TSi now. Personally, I like the 6.5" setup better, sound quality is just better.
