Well I am in the process of fixing the 2g Talon TSI I just bought. The original exhaust manifold is cracked all to hell. I have a 1g manifold just hanging around taking up space. I know it will fit, I also know the 2g manifold flows better. Is it a significant difference that I will notice? I don't plan on doing any major upgrades to this motor.

I doubt it. If you're still on the T25, you might actually get quicker spool (if that's possible) from increased exhaust gas velocities. It's better if it's not cracked like the other one. Any cracked manifold is worse than the 1g.
