Need to know a few things. I'm in need of a new ECU in my car which is a 91 get. Will an AWD 91-94 ECU work in a FWD? (I've searched already and have not found anything conclusive, everything is directed at putting FWD in AWD). Also, I know the fuel mapping is a bit different already. If anyone does have a cheap FWD 91-94 my turbo ECU I'll take (I know not the right thread but just throwing it out there). Additionally what would be the implications if there is a n/a ECU in a turbo? Thanks for all the help.

Actually Federal/California and FWD/AWD can be setup on the same ECU using R129 and R130.
Auto and Manual are different ECUs.

LOL, you know who's site your linking to? I'm glad you find it useful.

Actually all the turbo ECU's are the same hardware wise, it's the software in the CPU or EPROM chip that is different between the two.

I didn't mention the configuration resistors, afraid it might confuse the issue.

I do find that page useful, very much so! Thank you for putting it up and keeping it alive. This kind of feels like deja-vu, doesn't it?

I just thought that little bit of info would widen his chances to find one that would fix his problem.

Yep, should have said EPROMs instead of ECUs.

I already stumbled upon the link before I posted. I definitely am grateful for the insight. At this point I now need to find someone who has a 91-94 Fed MT Turbo ECU that's willing to part with it for cheap. Just dumped a large sum of my savings into this car to get it finally running and find out that the ECU is a 91-94 2.0 N/A ECU (surprisingly to me that it fires, runs and runs alright). It definitely doesn't seem 100% right, need a turbo ecu to see if it helps solve some nagging little issues that I have with the car before I feel the car will be reliable (DSM reliable).
