I send Thomas Dorris an few emails, and this is what he had to say about the dsmlink comming out for the 1g people
tietje
"I know you guys must be getting sick of hearing this question but was wondering if you still intend to release or even produce a 1g dsm link. Or should I just go ahead and find a 95 EPROM ecu and make a harness conversion and then get dsmlink"
Thomas Dorris
"Yes, we are releasing a native 1G version *VERY* soon. I mean within a matter of weeks I hope. It's really done at this point, we just need to put some final touches on it and test for a while. Definitely do not bother with the '95 EPROM ECU and harness work unless you really need something before middle or end of July (my current target date)."
tietje
"So should I expect to pay the same price as the 2g dsmlink or since 1g's are so different should I expect a diff price range."
Thomas Dorris
"It's definitely a done deal at this point. We're just polishing it up pretty much. Pricing will probably be a little less than the current 2G version."
tietje
"I have one more question does the ecu need to have an EPROM. I ask so no one will be confused."
Ok thats all people. At least we know now that the DSMLINK is for sure going to be around soon. The release date is not set in stone. And thats all I have for now.
I don't know what features their will be on the 1g version.
And no I dont work or am any way related to DSMLINK or the company ECMtuning. I'm simply passing on the message for other 1g owners interested
