1G DSM seat replacement choices

Ive seen a couple of posts on the forum via search for seat replacement choices, but really nothing that talks about a good choice for replacement seats.

Ideas?

If you are looking for sporty bucket seats i would definetly go with "Recardo",
Plus ive heard and i dont know if this is true or not. That Recardo seats will go on in place of stock eclipse seats with no problem out all. Check and see if theres any stock Recardo evo seats for sale, i believe those would look sweet in a Eclipse especially if you have the black suede interior.

They are "Recaro" not "Recardo".

There are many options when it comes to seats. Sparco, Corbeau, Recaro, Bride..to name a few. Most if not all aftermarket seats are universal meaning they can fit in a number of cars. Most offer brackets or sliders to mount in a specific vehicle, and there are company's that only make bracket's themselves and no seats. Basically it comes down to preference, function, and finances. It's up to you. You get what you pay for when it comes to seats. Good luck

I think going the Recaro's is a good thought. Ive been looking at them for a while from an EVO.

They do not drop in just like that. You will need some custom brackets to bolt it to an eclipse

On top of that it is a little more complicated for the 1g guys than for 2g's. Not impossible, but harder

Im looking for replacement seats as well, but it doesnt even have to be aftermarket for me. Just maybe out of another car other than the three DSM 1gs? Ill take anything for now, I just want to make a list of cars before I go to the junkyard.
