1g driver side window motor

i was given the impression that a 2g window motor will work on a 1g. also a sebring and avenger coupe. i dont want to go to autozone and pay 60 bucks for this darn thing.
any inputs?

When mine went I just went manual. You can go to the junkyard to go that route for next to nothing. You could also try the junkyard for the automatic motor also.

yeah i went last week to the junkyard and found a 1990 eclipse gs, while i was taking out the manual windows they booted me out so they can crush it!!! its hard to come up with a 1g, well maybe im just really unlucky when i go.

edit: thats why im asking if a 2g motor will work on a 1g. because i see a lot of 2g at the junkyard
