1g cas positioning

Hi guys,

I just installed my rebuilt 6 bolt motor. It had the old pig tail CAS on it. Because my car's harness has the plug in type I have to place the original CAS on it. So how do I install the newer CAS? It has a dot highlighted by the yellow arrow. Which direction should I point it to? towards the front or the back? The motor on the car is on TDC. I accidentally moved the spinning part while I was cleaning the sensor. Thanks.

While the motor is at TDC the part with the groove (side w/ yellow arrow) should be towards the front of the car.

yes, Although I have heard of people running the cas 180 off though

At the bottom it will show how to correctly install a 1g CAS.

Yes, it is possible for the car to run 180* off. Mine runs the same either way. I've read about people's cars that won't even start if it's off.
