1g cas in my 2g HELP

let me start by saying i have searched and searched but cant find my exact issue

i have a 95 gsx that im trying to install a 1g cas in.

the 1g cas im using is out of a 1990 so it has the pigtail coming out of it no plug on top

car is running a 1999 GSX ecu with the 95 harness and COP ignition

ive inverted the signal wires on the cas and wired the sensor exactly the same as the RRE instructions. car starts fine runs for 3-5 seconds and shuts off like your turning off the key.

if i put the ignition wires back to stock (95 wiring) nd plug just the cam sensor in and let the 1g cas just act as a crank sensor the car runs fine but it wont operate as both the cam and crank sensor and the whole reason im doing this is to get rid of the 95 cas on the cam gear help me out guys im stuck!

Did you bother to check your ignition timing? Also make sure the rotor isn't 180* out.

How do you make the 1g cas 180* out? I too, am installing a hall effect 1g cas in a 95 gst. I have already switched injector wires on the ecu and switched the coil pack wires. My cams and adj cam gears are installed. With an ams timing tool stuck in the gears. Pics help pls.

So i basicly I want the grooved tooth lined up with the notch. Next part says to bolt the cas at mid adjustment. Does that mean to have the bolts in the middle of the slots when tightening down the cas?
