1g brake upgrade question (ive searched for this already)

ive heard from what i believe to be a good source that you can use the 3000gt brakes on a 1g awd. ive been searching for this info and i have found mostly 2g installs and brief reference to 1g's. if there is a write up or a sticky pls send a link. im sorry to be asking questions if they have already been answered. thank you for your time and help. also i would have posted this in the section for brakes and such but im not alowed to yet thanks again.
