Edmonton,
During boost leak check I can hear air coming out of the bov.

Is my bov messed up?? I thought 1g bov don't start leaking till 18psi or so...

There may be a leak where the BOV seals to the UICP. Check the gasket and use some RTV sealant to be sure. If you want to know what psi your BOV leaks at you can remove it from your car and use a vacuum pump. Mine ended up leaking at around 16psi.

Bov gasket is good. I can hear the air coming out of the dump tube. Should I start looking for a new bov?
