1g Bov Leaking At Idle?

Well here is the situation. A couple of days ago I decided to mess around with venting. Just for kicks. It idled like crap, like usual with the setup. I placed my palm over bov and it would idle like normal. Does this mean that it is leaking at idle. It doesnt seem to leak when boosting. Is this normal for that type of setup. If so is there any way that I can fix it. I already searched couldnt find anything. And no please do tell to get a new one that is going to be my last resort if I have to.

Yes this is normal for it to leak at idle and under boost to a certain amount.

Just making sure it was alright. I know it opens up at ten psi when I used a vacumn pump to test it. Thanks for the reply.
