1g bov install on 2g

how quick is the installation and is it just a simple swap. about to buy one and not sure quite sure if it's gonna be this easy either way im gonna do it myself

It's easy & should take under 5 minutes. As long as you have the flange for it to fit your stock UICP.

It's pretty much plug & play...take 2g BOV off, put 1g in it's place..no special instructions.

i'm buying it on ebay and it looks like its still attatched to the old uicp will that be good

Yea that'll work too. It's still a simple installation, just swap out the pipe.

That "swapping" of the pipe wont work.
You will need to buy a 1g bov adapter for your 1g bov to install on the 2g ic PLASTIC upper ic pipe. Once you get that adapter (20bucks) you can then install it easily.

Attach the bov to the bov adapter plate and insert it into the plastic upper ic pipe where the stock 2g bov was. Get a clamp and secure that so it don't leak also.

Connect the hose back and go riding.
