Ok, so I got myself a 1g crushed BOV... after my Type S decided to tear a diaphragm..

Anywho, I pressure tested the BOV and it leaked @ 18 psi, but that's not the problem. Problem is, I don't know if it's working or not, LOL. Is there any other way of knowing if your BOV is working properly besides hearing the PSSSH?
I have a WG dump, and I can't hear anything besides BRRRRRRRRRRAWWWW....
Tried revving it in neutral a couple of times but I guess the 35r doesn't put out too much in neutral..

Anyone have any suggestions?

No way of revving it up under the hood and holding your finger by the BOV to see if it's relieving the pressure? I guess that if your turbo doesn't spool up enough it probably won't work that way. I guess try what the guy above said, maybe that'll let you know if it's working or not. Never really thought about how to know if it's working or not LOL.

Take it off and use your finger to push it up if it moves than it's working simple as that ..

Well, I already did this way before I put it on being that it was crushed I wanted to see if it worked.

Dude...just take that thaing off, and get a vacuum pump and put it on the vacuum nipple and pump it up. The diaphram will lift inside...you should be able to see it come up as you pump up the handle on the tester:dsm:

I figured this was the only way... hmmm.. Reason I'm wondering if it's working or not is, my VAC has been a tad low, I don't know if it's because of the winter weather + my cams, but since I can't hear a PSSSHH or a flutter... I really don't know if it's working or not... :sosad:
