1g Boost Controller on 2g?

Is this possible?

I have my old laser boost controller and would like to know if I would a) benefit from putting a controller on there... I have nothing on there now and im running a B16G and b) hurt or damage anything associated with the turbo setup.

Boost controllers are not car specific. If you are all stock besides the turbo, leave it at wastegate pressure until you have the proper modifications to justify turning up the boost.
