Hey, had a quick question on replacing the dsm cv on the passenger side im having trouble getting it too pop into the tranny and i was wondering if i could remove the abs clip on the axle without it leaking tranny fluid?:confused:

Sounds like you are trying to put the constant velocity shaft into your trans backwards. The abs parts should be right behind the rotor in line with the abs sensor. Not by the transmission. I could be reading it wrong. Need more details on what is exactly going on.

I think you're on to something here. That's what it sounds like to me.

No im putting it in right. Why would i put a threaded end into the tranny LOL im talking about what looks like a c-clip that goes on the groove of the cv nearthe end that goes in the tranny.it seems like when u force it in the clip depresses and goes into the tranny the it springs back out locking it in

You need to leave the clip on there, or the axle will slip out while you drive, and do more than just leak fluid.

EDIT: You can remove the clip to test fit the axle; it should slide in with pretty much zero resistance that way.
