1G and 2G lower timing cover marks the same?

Hey, i did my 6bolt swap an cut my 2g lower timing cover to fit on the 6 bolt. Now it bolts up good and everything, but will the mark be in the same place so I can set the ignition timing good? I'm assuming it will be fine, just wanted to make sure.

The lower cover are the same only the front case/pump marks are different..

that is what I thought but I just went out to the shop to confirm and I couldnt find the 1g cover.So ty for chiming in.
