1g and 2g bottom radiator hoses

Are they the same shape? or do you buy them for car specific? My stock one split today and this is the other one I have but im not sure if its the right one.

They are car specific but, may work. I have not owned a 2g but they have different part numbers so, try it and see. If it does not fit, get one that does.

The top hose fit perfect but im just not sure if this is the right one or not. They came as a set when I got the car. The bottom hose is Samco Sport with a "568" stamped on it

I would just try and see if it fits, if not, get the right one. I am sure that there is not much difference between the 2 but, there will be a little difference, I am sure. One way to find out, too.

Personally, I would put the correct part on and call it day, even if you have to pay 15 dollars for one from a parts store. Make sure that you get all the air out after you fill up the system with new coolant so you do not run hot.

As long as there is not a kink in the hose, and it fits over the rad, and waterpipe it should work fine.

So I ended up going outside to check if it would fit and I found out it was shaped completly differnt then the stock one that was on there.

I also found out that it was the clamp that was leaking because it was broke. so I changed it and its no longer leaking
