1g 91 stock radio problem

I'm back! Wohoo couldn't stay away from a beloved 1g. Haha I sold the one in the pic and bought a flat black one. I love these cars...but yet again I'm having an issue with the stock radio...they just don't like me: ( anyways.... the stereo worked the day I bought the car. Driving it home it didn't....there power to it, it's lit...but there's no display at all. From what IV seen online these years didn't have a code. It doesn't ask or display anything but it's orange an slit. Anyone else have this problem before? I'd really like some tunes and the stock radio. ..help me please?

i had this same prob in one of my 2gs and i unpluged the radio and the replaced the fuse under the hood and then pluged it back in and it started working again i would try that

check the fuse under your feet, don't check just if its broken also check for thermal damage or just plain replace it with a brand new fuse. Also check the ground on the radio, maybe it has a bad or loose connection.

if all else FAILS just get rid of the crappy stock radio

Yeah my stocker went out to, and so did my brothers; dsm stereos suck. Do it!
Oh and I've bought many things from these guys cheap and trustworthy.
