1g 7bolt to 2g auto?

Ok, picked up a 95 auto with no engine. I can pick up a 1g 7bolt bottom end for next to nothing. Is there any issues with mating the 2g auto to the 1g 7bolt? I know if I use a 6bolt I need the Kiggly adapter. This is said to be needed due to spacing. Does the 1g 7bolt have this issue? Or is it like the 2g 7bolt minus the extra mounting hole?
