1g 7 bolt question

this may sound stupid but i didn't know what else to do. i have a 93 gsx, this one is new to me I'm used to dealing with 90-92 6bolt 4g63's. this one is a 7bolt my question is does it have 8.5:1 comp. or 7.8:1 comp. i know 2g has 8.5 but this is a 1g. is this the black sheep of the family? if it does have 7.8 comp. will the 7bolt rods in this engine accept 2g 8.5 pistons with no mods? has anyone heard of crank walk in 1g 7bolt 4g63's? iv searched the forums and cant seem to find the answer. if its already on a thread I'm sorry for wasting your time but please help.

The 93-94 1G 7bolts came with 7.8:1 pistons.

7bolt 1G, 2G EVO I, II, III all have the same part number for the rods.

The 2G 8.5:1 pistons will fit your rods with no mods.

Haven't heard of crankwalk on a 1G 7bolt.

I personally have 180,000 original miles on my '93 Talon TSi crank and rods and
have no crank walk.

thanks bro, yah that did help. i figured that the motor was 7.8:1 but i did not know that the 2g pistons would fit. sweet ill be getting on classifieds now...
