I'm going to be putting a 1g &bolt motor in my 2g. Other than the bottom end and 7bolts, what are the differences between the 6 bolt and 2g 7bolt? Also would it still be considered as a 6bolt installation or 7 bolt? One more thing, its a JDM motor, I can tell because there's Japanese writing where the radiator cap is SUPPOSED to be, theres no radiator cap, do I swap this from my engine, and also the throttle body has only 1 port connected with a hose, there are no other nipples there. Anyone with info on this partticular engine please help.

there are more differences like you would need to get a CAS modifiy the motor mount, and other small modifications
you can say its custom installation .. theres many ways of doin it . i combined these two ways

6 Bolt Motor Install Into a 2G Eclipse

no sure about the radiator situation .. i had a cap with ### writeing came stock .

on the throttle body the ones that are not there are the 3 on the top .. the one on the very bottem is the one vac line which u can use to put , say a boost gauge..it would be good if you closed the ones that are not there off so nuthin gets into it

If i read correctly your asking if you can say you have a 6bolt swap? the answer is no because the main reason people go to the 6bolt is to avoid crankwalk.
