1g 5spd Transmission install

In January I am gonna pick up a transmission off my friend that has 72k miles on it. Supposed to be a Jack's rebuilt transmission. How can one tell if that's what it really is? Also, what should I replace when I swap to the new transmission? Is it necessary to replace the slave? I plan to replace the rear main, and probably just resurface the flywheel. What fluids (brands/how much $) should I run in the transmission/t-case as well? Thanks guys.

Your local auto store will have amounts to use, and replace everything that is in doubt or your unsure of do it once and right, anyway anything you replace will be a fairly easy job.

If you don't want to end up taking it off again , I would replace the rear main seal, clutch, resurface flywheel, change the fork & ball and a new oem throw out bearing. You can change the slave easily with the trans installed so if its not leaking and looks ok you could try it before changing it. Trans is 2.5qt t-case is .5qt rear diff is .9qt. Oem Mitsubishi 6-speed manual transmission gear oil or redline MT-90 , or MT-85 in the trans, Redline heavy duty or light weight shockproof in the tcase & rear diff.

You probably don't need to worry about the rear main seal, they are usually leak free.
