Resolved 1G 2G valve cover on a 1G

So I noticed there's a crack on my valve cover on my 1991 tsi. I was wonder if a 2g dsm valve cover would work to replace the original one?

Yes, the 2G 4G63 rocker cover is interchangeable. Make sure you use new gaskets and seals and don't over tighten it. The spec for the bolts is in inch pounds. There are threads here on when the RTV goes in the corners and the torque specs.
