1g 2g knock sensor differences

I have a 6bolt in my 2g but i don't know if the knock sensor is from a 1g or 2g how can I tell the differences between the two?

I don't think the 1g sensor will plug into 2g harness.

But the 1g sensor is @ 1" tall and has hex shape and what looks like silicone on the back side.

The 2g sensor is much shorter and has only 1/4" hex then rounds out and has no visible silicone sealant on the back.
