1ft of fire coming out of my exhaust pipe!

This problem just started a couple days ago but I just notice that fire was coming out tonight.

When im in second gear and on around 4k it makes a LOUD POP noise and fire shoots out while it pops it stops boosting but then once the pop is gone it boosts then pops again then I have to shift.

Ive only seen this problem in second cause once I noticed it I stopped driving it WOT


Could my air/fuel mixture be wrong? To much fuel not enough air so Im getting gas in my tail pipe that explodes?

Honeycomb still out and its back, the pops but NOT AS LOUD......

I might just take the middle honeycomb out and put the bottom one back and see if that works... this is just till I can buy a logger tho.

Do not take the middle one out, it will make metering air impossible.

The bottom is the most I have ever taken out. If you remove the sides too it will be way too lean.

You need to make sure you have no boost leaks, a steady base fuel pressure and a proper working MAF. This all sounds like it could be fuel cut or rich because of huge boost leaks.

I did the boost leak test at least 20 times, one at the egr valve and that was only seen by the soapy water test. No other ones. Fuel pressure is at 43 and might go up to 46 when boosting. MAF is working cause I no how it is like when I dont have it hooked up. Im running REALLY RICH so I need to get away from there.

Why does your fuel pressure not rise with boost? I get 68 psi of fuel pressure with 25 psi of boost and a base pressure of 43 psi. If your regulator does not increase fuel pressure with boost you are going to lean it out .....not richen it up. Do you have a good vacuum source hooked up to your regulator?

Well its 43 idle then revving it it goes up to around 46-48, I cant drive it and boost and look cause it is under the hood. Ill double check it ASAP, but I no im rich cause im shooting fire, unburnt fuel in my exhaust......
