1998 gst t-belt

Well posted about my oil pump a few weeks ago about my motor knocking at low rpms, well when i went to check things out the t-belt seems loose does this look right? i could move the belt like 2 inches up in down

Uh - no that`s not good at all. Whatever you do DO NOT start that engine! Finish pulling the drive belts & the lower timing covers, & check your tensioner & idler pulleys in there & determine what`s walking that belt off -

HAHA to late just playing, yeah im gonna pull it all off.

would that cause start issues? if the belt did slip a few teeth? i got stuck on the side of the road frist it was the oil light came on and then it started to knock a bit and the timing belt came loose i pulled the belt like that but to show how loose it was it has alot of slack.

If the belt slipped & jumped timing, it won`t start, or if it does, it`ll run terrible for a very short time. If it jumped timing while running, you`ll need to pull the head & get the valves & guides replaced
