Hey guys i recently bought my car and the car is not revving pass 2500 rpms, so i put in a code reader and it gave me MAF sensor so i changed it to a gm 3 bar sensor, and the car is still not revving pass the rpms, u guys have anything in mind, you think is the ECU?

Any one know where is the ECU for this model, ive tried looking in passager side and behind radio and didn't find anything..

There are tons of other tests to try before suggesting ECU replacement. OP dont just guess & throw money at it. Boost leak test, CAM/CAS sensors, coils, firing order... Or how about try an OEM MAF first
I've tried all of that and the car keeps doing the same thing it starts good it idles good but at neutral it doesnt pass 3k it starts misfiring, and in gear in all gears at 2k it stops like it was it limits and starts misfiring.. What do you think?

Do you know the symptoms of a bad wastegate ??

Dying fuel pump would be another thing to check. Maybe enough fuel for idle but cant sustain the needed pressures when RPMs rise. It may well be ECU, i was just suggesting that i wouldnt be so quick to jump into ECU after only a TPS test

Bad wastegate would simply be lazy to build boost or build too much boost, but not RPM limiting as youre describing

You think TPS would do that? , i think with a bad tps the car would only idle bad , but idk whats your opinion?
