1995 GSX Tachometer light issue

So i had a 6 bolt and wiring harness swapped into my 95 GSX. Before I gave the car to my dsm mechanic the tach lights worked when you turn headlights on. Now none work. Is there a plug they coulda missed, or a fuse that could have blown?? It seems almost impossible that all the background tach lights stopped working all at once. Very strange. Anyone experience this or have any ideas to point me in the right direction? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Id check the plug first. Easy to miss

I know this might sound really stupid but I ask because I have done it, have you checked the dimmer switch is turned up?
