1994 DSM owners, NEED HELP with axles PLEASE

I cannot find axles for my 1994 eagle talon tsi, i was told that i could only get the cv's through mitsubishi. Has anyone ran into a similar problem, please help

Someone's yanking your chain. Any auto parts store should be able to get you replacement axles. Advance, Carquest, Autozone...etc

yeah however i have had two sets and the spindles on the input to the trans is 28mm and the ones from the stores are 26mm

That is strange, I've never heard of such a thing... They prob are different with Automatics tho...

Ahh, Cory's on-going search for axles, haha. I've tried searching for ya too but I haven't had any luck finding anything of any help.

Well here are the parts numbers that I found for Autozone on their commercial site.

2.0 dohc
7934 RH side.. list $79.98
7935 LH side.. list $79.98

2.0 dohc turbo
7927 LH side.. list $79.98
N/A RH side..list $N/A

You can ask them if they can do an outside purchase to get you axles that you need with the correct spindle sizes. I'm not sure if the Autozone in your specific area will do that for you or not like they do over here.

Another option is to call one of these Salvage yards...

Leesville Auto #732-388-0783 and ask for Jean (Tell her Stanford told you to call)(If she doesn't have it she will search for it for you)

You can also tryPep Boys #609-520-0031 and ask for Jen (Tell her Stanford told you to call) Give her the information on your car and the spindle measurements that you need and she will research it for you. If she can find the correct parts she will give you the parts numbers and let you know the closest store to you that has them in stock.

Hope these numbers help you in your quest. Let me know if anyone finds what you need.
