I have two 1993 Talon ES white auto's. Last year I bought a crashed 1993 Talon ESi and stripped it for parts. I never could figure out what the difference was on the ESi vs the ES. Was it a better radio or interior or trim line or larger fuel tank? One of my ES cars has alloy wheels, one has steel wheels so I don't think it's the wheels. Maybe it is the sunroof, the ESi had a sunroof, the large one. Maybe they just added the i to make it sound more like the TSi for sales purposes? -Tom in Colorado

I'm pretty sure its like comparing a gs eclipse to an rs eclipse. Basically they are the same exact thing. Possibly just the options that it can come with.

It seems ES/ESi are used interchangeably, it's odd that Eagle would just add the i since it's not a turbocharged car like the TSi which is intercooled. Thanks for the replies. -Tom

I'm not sure if the "i" in TSi stands for Intercooled, if so, what would the "S" stand for? (assuming "T" means turbocharged)

Turbo Super intercooled!! LOL

:ohdamn: How come I didn't get that?! LOL Imagine... The great people at Diamond Star Motor trying to figure out a new model trim name..

Damn I'm slow... I didn't even caught that.

Economically Slow Import

Sad... I just dissed my own ride

Can some one lend me the "t" off their tsi?
