1991 shift problems

Ok heres the story. I bought a 91second talon tsi. On the way home the slave cylinder went out and i had to force the car into third and fifth i stretched my left cable. When i got home i replaced the slave cylinder and had to wait to find 91 cables. I bled the slave cylinder and i put the new cables on and it wont find a single gear. It feels like it goes into 2nd 4th and reverse bit ehen the cars on its not actually in a gear at all. I checked the arms on the tranny and i can pit it in gears just fine. So im pretty sure the tranny is fine. Any ideas?

Watch the cables in engine bay while someone shifts to make sure their casings are not moving usually because they are not bolted down to the tranny.

It wont let me eveb attempt to put it in 1st 3rd or 5th it feels like its blocked or like theres something in the way of lower gears
