1990 tsi logger not reading?

I am using MMCD with a Palm m130 and, a logger cable. The only thing that I am reading is the battery. I have everything hooked up right. Does anyone have any idea why my logger is not reading? Anything would be helpful.

do you have abs? some loggers wont log with the abs fuse in for some reason. food for thought

yeah Im not to sure what the problem is, but I guess i will have to tinker with it a little more. I wouldn't be surprized if the guy that had the car before me screwed something up. I'm just happy to have most of the maintenece complete.
