1990 and 1991 tranny match?

I have a 1991 Plymouth Laser RS FWD NT 2.0 DOHC. I just went thru a trans and clutch so i need 2 replace i just found a 1990 NT2.0 Plymouth Laser, will this cars trans, clutch and flywheel work with my ride? Thanx all, you guys rock and are always really helpful. Keep it real. Thanks for the help.

Your gonna need to get the shifter cables, base and shifter. The clutch is the same as what you have now.

^^^^^^ that sound right. I had done that a few weeks ago, but it was a '90 into a '92.

I think on the AWD's theres a spline count difference for the axles from 90 to 91 and up. May not be the case for nt's

No, front wheel drives do not have any other problems besides the shifter cables and linkage.
