Well I pulled the trigger on a 86 starion (1986 only had manual seat belts and color is Olive Gray, 86 only color). I think I paid a little too much but good base to start off with. Don't know exactly what I want to do yet either factory restore, 4g63 or 2J. What you guys think? What's Pros and cons on this 86? Runs and drives but misfires above a certain psi of boost(maybe above 8psi). Needs a repaint but body is straight. Only found 2 rust spots quarter size. My first car was a 84/85 technica starion but didn't know what I had at the time of 16yrs old so it got junked

. I have built Mitsubishi cars before from 500hp talon to my Chevy Luv powered 4g63 Building The LUV . So more stuff to come on this starion aka Olive.

#olivestarion update. Started doing some maintenance by rebuilding the axles, replacing sway bar links front and rear, axle seals replaced and some #mks front wheel bearings. Waiting on one more tie rod to come in to do all the tie rod ends. Need a new exhaust then I will be ready to roll!

Spring time photos! And did upgrade my stock exhaust to a Mookeeh 3" Turbo back exhaust.
Way better than OEM & no muffler... Sound Vid coming soon.

Not much movement on this project... but did find a rare piece at a junkyard of all places. 83 scooped hood, very rare and non rusty at all.
Cleaned it up and see how it looks... looks 100x better than a white stock hood. What you guys think?
Dont know if I mentioned this but this needs a throwout bearing and should be a decent runner for when spring time hits next year. More to come on this build. Kid turned 18months so my time is consumed a bit .
