Winnipeg,
k well i was thinking of putting 18 inch chrome rims on my black 1995 tsi talon and i also want too lower my car. Are these rims too big and how low should i go? This car is my daily driver so i want a nice smooth ride but i also want it too look nice. :talon:

Our suspension offers so little travel to begin with that lowering too much will result in bad ride quality. If you are mostly concened with ride quality I wouldn't lower too much (Eibach pros or equiv) but if you are more concerned with the look (Eibach sportlines or equiv).

RoadRace has some good pics:

You could always buy coilovers and then set the height to your liking.

Make sure you have the alignment done when you change from stock ride height or if you tweak the coilovers.

i originally said to go with kyb's or some form of shocks, but he said he didn't have the money for them now. so i said that stocks are fine, but i do agree the adjustables are better and in fact i am about to order mine.
