18g, I need to know if I can take him???

Hey everyone, I know this guy Nick that is really talking shit about my car (mind you its not all the way finished yet) saying I'm just a damn ricer bla bla bla bla. Well we are both going to be finsihing our cars around the same time, early july. We setup a race when we both have our cars finished and broken in. I need to know if I can take him. He has a 79 2 door malibu. He running a 350 bored .040 over and all the normal 350 crap. headers, full exhuast, intake manifold, carb, rearend gears, you know the norm but he also said he was going to be adding nitrous he didn't say how much so I am expection probabaly a 150-200 shot from him. My mods are listed in my profile.... You think I can take it with my 18g at 20-25psi????? I will never hear the end of it if I don't win

Sell the 18g and get a bigger turbo - your car can support it. Make sure you tune the car with a WB and use race gas. Seriously, that 18g isnt going to make the power you'll need.

I'd suggest a 60-1 and learn to launch with the stutterbox - he wont know what hit him if you have a tuned setup.
