this would be for a 1g...any problems with rubbing or scraping...and also would i definitly need a camber correction kit?

I dunno how different the 1Gs are but since no one has answered yet....I'll throw 2 cents out.

My 2g came with 14" wheels. I swapped them out for the 97-99 17" gsx wheels. It fits obviously.... but it does need a camber kit b/c of uneven tire wear due to toe & caster.

So you'll probably need a camber kit to save the tires.

i'll correct what eclpzlvr97 said. You can not adjust you caster. You can adjust your toe even with lowering your car, but you have no camber adjustment from the factory. To adjust your camber you will need camber plates. As far as rubbing goes, thats also going to depend on what size tire you go. Friend of mine has a lowered 1g with 17s about to go on. I think he got 215/45/17 tires. I will check on that.
If you have rubbing it will be when you are turning. 17s will fit under the wheel well just fine but its when the tire exposes itself from under the wheel well when steering is when you could have your rub.

i got 17x7 215/45/17 no rubbing with about about 3 inch gap from tire to wheel well lip in rear and about an inch or less in front. no scraping or anytihng with 7's however, when i had 17x8, i did notice a significant rubbing problem.
