I read the other postings for 16X8 wheel/tire combos. My post is just a little bit different as I want to run this wheelset all year around with all season tires. My car isn't going to be lowered anymore and I'm tired of swapping my 17X7 wheelset for my stock 16 swirlies. In fact I sold my 17X7s. I liked the 17s but I thought the ride was overly harsh with the crappy roads out here and wanted to run wheels wider than 7s in the future. I'm not looking for tire size opinions. I looking for advise of people running all season tires in similar sizes that like the tires they have run and/or tires to stay away from. These tires aren't going to see the track and are going to be relegated to at most some spirited driving around town. maybe something in a w rating. I have h rated Firestone Firehawk tires on the stock swirlies and hate them. They have way too much sidewall flex but are really good in the snow. Everyplace I have looked for wheelset including tires all list summer rated tires that would kill the whole point.

On the street (also in Wisconsin) i run 17's. Currently have some Kuhmo Ecsta SPT's. So far they are great for daily driving and those late night beat runs. Another street tires that does awesome are the Falken Azenis 615's.

I run a 245 tire on my 17's and the fit nicely.
