I'm in the middle of installing my EVOIII16g and have a couple questions. I was wondering if anyone knew the torque spec for the v band that holds the turbine to the center section? I had mine off when I was porting the turbo and couldn't find how tight they should be.

My next question is what eveybody did with their water lines. I'm basically ready to install the new turbo but I'm waiting on a sbr manifold, I wanted to have everything together so I could bolt it all up as soon as I got it & thats why I can't really try the different conf. at the moment. So I think RRE recommended to swap the feed & return with each other, flip them & then bend them to fit. I tried that way and it would work but if I install them the same way they were on the t25 the outlets seem to be closer to their origional location with less bending, but I can't verify it without the mani, so what did everyone else do?

Also are you supposed to put anti seize on the water line banjo bolts? I didnt think it would be a good idea as its possible for it to get into the cooling system.

1. Don't know the torque spec off hand, but I usually just torque just enough to be tight, and then 3/4 more of a turn.

2. eff the water lines, screw them on and bend them until they go where you want them to. If they're close, go buy some fuel lines and extend them. oh, and take your time and be careful not to put any torsion on the water lines. GO SLOW.

3. back when I installed my e316G for the first time [ dropped it in and out about 6-7 times now ] I didn't use any antiseize becuase i had no idea what it was. and it's holding up fine. take that as you will, but if you do decide to use it. use just enough to coat it and wipe off ALLE xcess.
