14B too much shaft play???? video

Is it worth rebuilding?
Not when you can find another 14B with no wheel damage for slightly more than what the rebuild parts alone would cost you.

If your compressor wheel wasn't hooked, I'd say maybe....but this 14B is a doorstop.

Is it worth rebuilding?

probably not. Its a 300hp turbo that could cost way to much to rebuild. I would say if you had damaged compressor wheel due to something else like something being ingested and hitting the comp wheel. then you could just get a new compressor wheel and have it balanced. I would just go buy a new or used turbo (forced performance had Evo III's on sale for like 500 bucks)

Ok thank you very much :)
Just one more question: I had a new 16G and was able to move the shaft so that the fins nearly did touch the housing but my old 14B did ecatly the same thing... is this normal without oil pressure? The 14B was running great all the time.
