I was wondering which turbo is best for my application. My t25 is almost trashed so Im going to upgrade. My car is supposed to have some mods done to it, the guy I bought it from said it has larger injectors[which I havent checked], it has a front mount intercooler, 1g intake, not sure but possibly 1g head[why would it have the 1g intake without the head?] greddy upper intercooler piping, greddy bov, K&N, not sure what brands but it has a aftermarket downpipe and exhaust. Im not sure about the fuel pump, but you would think with bigger injectors it would have a different fuel pump. The 14b would be alright, but I thought that I might go with the 16G, but i dont want to have to go with all that fuel managment junk. My girlfriend drives my car more than me, and she wouldnt have a clue about all the gauges and how to work them. How do you check what size injectors you have? Do you have to take them out?

You might as well go with the 16g or bigger if you want. it's not really the turbo that will force you to get the fuel management stuff. If anything you should have already had it cause it's highly suggested that when you buy bigger injectors that you have some type fuel management. But i would definately go with the bigger turbo (if you are looking for speed) as long as you don't run crazy boost then you will be fine.

You must be running pretty rich if you have a bigger fuel pump and injectors and no fuel managment. Usually when you go to bigger fuel injectors you need some sort of fuel managment to control them. I would definatly have your injectors checked just to be sure they are bigger. Its not uncommon for guys with similar mods to run a 16g without a fuel managment system. Just be sure to have the wastegate ported so you can avoid the boost creep issue i am dealing with now. I have a 16g with a 34mm flapper and i still boost creep and hit fuel cut.
