14b Compressor Wheel Swap question

If you have the 14b I would get the 16G compressor ( intake side ) wheel and have the exhaust turbine housing ported. This would get you very close to what a true 16G would be. I plan on doing exactly the same thing once I get my 14b rebuilt and ported. Good luck man! This sounds different and very cool.

Just to correct myself.

You can see from the pics the difference between the two compressor wheels. Sorry for the wrong info. OMG Unless there is a 16G wheel that does not have that step on it, the swap would not work without machining.

On the Forced Performance site, it says the 17C and the 19C wheel is TD06H, so will they fit on the 14B's TD05H housing? Can I port the housing to make it fit? I want to rebuild the turbo soon, if the 19C will fit (even if I need to port the housing a bit), I want to get it. So if anyone done this or know this, please help. :talon: :thumb:
