14b and Greddy 24r FMIC?

Well, I am ready for a FMIC and I have leaned more towards the Greddy 24r. I currently have a ported 14b turbo on my car and was wondering what kind of affects I might run into. Is this intercooler too big for my turbo? Will it affect spool up time? Thanks!

What about the AGP front mount. That would probably drown my 14b. I just want to be prepared for my future turbo. Thanks!

An AGP FMIC may be overkill on a 14B. but it's good to have if you know your going to upgrade turbos soon.

the piping is WAY too long on those intercooler kits. look on www.slowboyracing.com for their 2g FMIC kit.

A bigger intercooler is always better, regardless of what turbo you have. A higher intercooler efficiency will also always allow you to make more power.

Now with that said, I heard bad things about the Greddy, so please do some research on it...

The Greddy has pipping that is WAY TO LONG. Get a decent intercoller with short route pipping and you will be happy.

also one thing to consider when getting a large FMIC is how much air your radiator will be getting after install. if you're covering your bumper opening with a large FMIC, your car may run hot [ for obvious reasons ]. this usually is cured by a high CFM fan

Also, being that I am auto, will the front mounts fit there with my tranny cooler there? How difficult is the typical install on a agp or greddy?
