12v ??

I am about to run 5 gauges, 5"tach, wideband o2, SAFC.- Where would be the best place to tap for 12v, and ground, they are all pods (all autometer mechanical)- pics would be good.
I am looking to turn the gauge lights on when I turn the headlights on.

go to tech guide it is all there dimmer switch for the light bulbs and tap your 12v on the cigarette lighter wire which is 12v.

I'm not sure if you're asking 2 different questions or not. If you're looking for a good place to tap 12v to run the actual gauges themselves, you can try the cigarette lighter. If you want them to come on with the headlights, the headlight relay should work.

Don't go with the cigarette lighter the best wire to use for the 12V is the thick "White" cable in your ignition harness.

and for the gauge lights use the green/white cable wich is located in the driver kick panel,wich is the harness to rear.

those are the best two sources you can use.
as far as grounds there is plenty of places that you can use as ground. just try to stick with the actual body not the metal bars or plates under the dash.

I am asking where do tap for a power source to light my gauges?
And I am asking where to power my SAFC and TACH, o2 wideband?

How do I run all of my wires to the headlight fuse?

Also, do I splice the wires onto the headlight, or get a insert to put it in the open side?

Do you have pics, I dont quite understand what your specifically talking about?

if you take of the cover that is under the sterring colum you'll see a bunch of wires in there just look for the thick white wire wich is as thick as a pencil and that is going to be you main and best 12v source. the same concept goes for the ligth swich but the cable is going to be thiner like a regular stock peaker cable.
